So it took a while for me to realize that the handsome blond fellow in the just-released poster for “Anna Karenina” was not, in fact, Jude Law with a massive hairpiece. (It is, much to my surprise, Aaron Johnson, whose hotness somehow transcends the hair.) Can you find Jude? I mean, that old ugly guy on the left can’t be the sexy Jude, can it? … Oh, dear God, what have they done?!?!
Jude doesn’t look half as bad in motion in the trailer for the period romance:
“Anna Karenina,” which is set for a Nov. 9 release, was written by the great Tom Stoppard — so I’m totally in!
