Jean Dujardin Singing! (6 Videos)
31 Jan
Silent movie be damned — why the hell shouldn’t Jean Dujardin be singing? God bless him, by the evidence we found on the Interwebs, the sextastic star of “The Artist” will sing at the drop of a hat. So but of course he would belt out a tune after (justly) winning yet another best actor award, this one from the Screen Actors Guild, which seems to tip the odds in his favor to take home Oscar. He celebrated the best way a Frenchman can: by singing La Marseillaise!
But of course, this was nowhere near the first time the lovably goofy Dujardin has risen his voice in song, as you can see in the clips below:
Here’s the clip of Dujardin singing La Marseillaise to the press corps backstage at the SAG Awards on Sunday:
And here he is singing “For Me, Formidable” by request (sort of) on “Popcorn With Peter Travers” (stay for the end!):
This is Dujardin’s wacky video for “Le Casse de Brice” in his comic Brice de Nice guise:
And here’s his ultra-popular version of “Bambino” in the James Bond spoof “OSS 117″:
Another request leads to Dujardin singing popular songs at the “Lucky Luke” movie premiere in 2009:
And, my personal fave, performing a boy band parody with comedy troupe Nous C Nous:
