Confession: I am a Rickmaniac from the nation Rickmanistan.

I have adored the delicious Alan Rickman since I first laid eyes — and ears — on the man. Achtung, Hans Gruber! His heartbreakingly excellent turn as Severus Snape (SNAPE! SNAPE! SEV-ER-US SNAPE!) just adds to his legend.

I offer 41 of the absolutely sexiest photographs of him I’ve been able to scrounge up (including the “Truly Madly Deeply” pic above), in a wildly wrong-headed attempt to quench my desire, at least a bit. All in vain, I tell you, all in vain!

I will love him always.
